You can, and that is the point. Throughout, "writing code" comes down to telling Claude Code what you want in plain English. The skill-creator chapter goes further and has Claude Code write new skills for you. The coding barrier was real in 2024. It has largely disappeared since.

The right way to use this generation of models is to leave room for judgment rather than hand over a procedure manual: add a rule only where it makes the same mistake repeatedly, and prune the rules on a regular schedule.
